Grease Live!

FOX is going to be broadcasting Grease later this month. I think it is FOX's first attempt at such. From what I've read it is going to be a bit of a combination of the movie and stage play with both Hopelessly Devoted to You and Grease! included. However both the movie and stage musical do use a lot of cussing. Watching Grease on TV is annoying because of the way Greased Lightning is cut up. I can see the dialogue changed to easily accommodate the censors, but how would Grease Lightning be changed?
Lyrics like:
With a four speed on the floor
They'll be waiting at the door
You know that ain't no shit
We'll be getting lots of tit
In Greased Lightning.

And:
With new pistons, plugs, and shocks
I can get off my rocks
You know that I ain't bragging
She's a real pussy wagon
Greased lightning

What to do to the song to make it acceptable to broadcast TV? Rewrite whole new lyrics seems the only logical answer, but that'd suck. I really wish HBO (or was it Showtime?) would get back into recording and playing stage musicals.

There must be a sanitized version somewhere. I worked on a production of this musical back in 1986, and it had "family-friendly" lyrics.

I finally got around to watching this off my DVR/PVR. It was all right, but so many of the little things were re-written from the original that didn't seem to need to be and I found myself irked.
