Last week I wrote some sales copy for five of the Eaglemoss volumes. One's a collection of Malibu's "Celebrity Series" specials, one by Mark Lenard, one by Aron Eisenberg.
I have always wanted some sort of follow-up to the Mark Lenard special. It's sort of a sequel to "Balance of Terror," the Romulan Commander's son is a Romulan ambassador to the Federation, and Kirk's great-granddaughter (though I'm not sure where she came from) is a freshly minted ensign assigned to DS9. The story is a little on the thin side -- it's only about 18 pages, short even by Malibu's standards of the time -- and a lot of the space is devoted to introducing the two guest stars. But the characters were interesting enough that I'd have liked more.
