Hi all,

I am doing some research into the music albums Grace Lee Whitney made and I was wondering if anyone has knowledge of them ? I am trying to find track lists of each etc

It seems she had four albums and one single, according to IMDB, although I suspect there may have been some crossover of songs appearing twice ?

(1999) Album: Recorded "Yeoman Rand Sings"

(1996) Album: Recorded "Light at the End of the Tunnel"

(1991) Album: Recorded "Yo, Yeoman!" before the 25th Anniversary of "Star Trek".

(1980) Album: Recorded "USS Enterprise"

(1976) Single: Recorded "Disco Trekkin'"

I am also interested in obtaining some of these cassettes if people have them ?

Many thanks...

The "Disco Trekin'" 45 rpm single has the song "Star Child" in its "B side."

I hope that some of the music that the actors have recorded over the years is brought to the fore a bit more for the anniversary and not just Shatner's and Nimoy's kitsch but essentially terrible efforts.

Thank you to everyone who has replied.

I agree that more prominence to the singers and maybe a compilation are deserved.

There is a lot of information online about the Shatner / Nimoy / Nichols albums, but virtually none about these Grace Lee Whitney cassettes.

I'd like to find out more if anyone has these cassettes ? (Especially the early ones ?)

I never knew she had albums out, but it's all on her Wikipedia page, so I guess I should have.

If we compile a discography of all Star Trek personnel, that would be pretty neat. The spinoff casts had some entries, including Brent Spiner and Chase Masterson.

It's pretty easy to find information about those other albums on the net - except for the albums of Grace Lee Whitney, which is what's prompted this discussion thread...

Hopefully someone has each cassette, or some of them, and can chip in some information ?

I never figured out how to hear any audio on the page feek61 found the link to, but no matter as it can also be heard here :

I have been able to ascertain that three of these albums are drawn from the same recording sessions and repeat many of the same songs.

Only this one remains a mystery as it refers to additional recording sessions, although that could be a mistake:

1991) Album: Recorded "Yo, Yeoman!" before the 25th Anniversary of "Star Trek".
