Grace Holloway

And after Donna caved in season 4, Grace now holds the honor of being the one companion who said 'hell no' when asked to come travelling.
Can you call someone a "companion" if they don't travel with the Doctor?
yes judging her by modern standards or any standards its hard to call her a companion, she is like Astrid, but she was the only person associated with the 8th Doctor, would could in any way be called a companion, so the fans call her that anyways.

In any way?

Christ almighty, then what the hells do you call Charlie Pollard?

Hells he's still wandering around with Lucy Miller, he's bumping into Susan Foreman this month and there's sometrip about Mary Shelly author of Frankenstein being his intended bosom buddy.

All this massively marvellous media ain't going to get a lick of respect till it's animated.

And even then, it's going to be a very small lick.

Bah humbug.

Is Mazing the opposite to Amazing?

Isn't the Gallifreyan hand weapon called a mazer?

Because this gal was really really overhyped just because she does surgery to Pachini in opera gowns...

Which is just par for the course now days on Nip Tuck or Private Practice.

I call them non TV companions, so outside of a few thousand hard core ming mongs (a word I dont actually know the meaning of) no one knows who they are.

Ok, going back to discussion of Grace Holloway....

Though I reckon she looks good throughout the film (except for when she's possessed by the Master and goes all creepy, of course), I think her best moment was when she was wearing that blue opera dress, she looked absolutely breathtaking there (although that slow-motion run through the hospital hallway was a tad bit cheesy). :)
