Got my datasheets collected in one place:

I want to know more about the SS Resses...

Especially that Phaser. Is a track mounted system? Something else? I go with something else the 'track' doesn't have the actual emitter, it is inside...

Also some deck plans??

One of my jumping off points is from the Mack Reynolds novel 'Mission to Horritis'. One civilization had slow acting Phasers, the more modern one had planetary defense banks, that weren't very effective against modern shields.

I built the Reeses from two Polar Lights model kits: The Jetsons' flying car, and the repop of the Aurora Dick Tracy Space Coupe. The name refers to a Reeses Peanut Butter cup, which is made from two things: Chocolate and peanut butter! :) The nacelles are space shuttle boosters.

The phaser ring turret is an interpretation of the way it works on the TOS Enterprise. I think it was Thomas Sasser who first presented it that way in one of his datasheets. A rotating turret makes sense, going by the way we see the beams emit in the show.

Deck plans are too complicated and confusing for me :). I really only enjoy doing exterior views and cutaways, with an occasional example of a deck or two. I have trouble tying the layouts of multiple decks together in my head, as well as trying to include everything needed.

I knew about the peanut butter cups - the reference and name is entirely proper.

As to the Phaser ring, I was thinking of a reflective mechanism, rather than a great deal of mechanical movement. A reflective mechanism would allow for a pathway through the ship of a Phaser beam to allow for shooting from near the bridge. So, two Phaser rings, one Phaser.
