Gory Gory death!!!

Of all the ways to be killed, as depicted on either an episode or movie, which 'way to die' on Trek would you not want your loved ones to have to endure...there are many, here are a few I thought of..

Transporter screw-up. TMP had that accident, and thankfully, what made it back to Starfleet, didn't survive. But I think the book version said they had been turned inside out..or maybe that was THE FLY scene I am thinking about....yuck..no fun there..

Death by...Horta...Umm, yeah, that was pretty bad. The horta, nothing more than a crawling pizza, will disolve you. And from the screams of agony we heard, it wasn't a swift death...

Death by Singing Torture...chained to a tree, and having to endure ROW ROW ROW your boat by the big three would be pretty bad too!!!

Hirogen? Weren't they the ones who made soup out of their captured prisoners? Being boiled alive would not be fun

Death by singing #2...Then again, having to listen to Picard/Data sing that silly song in In-Search-of-an-Erection was pretty bad on the ears too..

Salt Monster...not really sure what was going on there...but it looks like this thing sucked salt right out of your body....have no idea what that is like..

eels in the ear...now that could not have been fun. Terrel has my respect!!!

What are some of the 'ways of death' you would want, or would want your loved ones to avoid??

Death by the Varon-T Disruptor that Kivas Fajo owned in TNG "The Most Toys". Supposedly a very, very bad way to die.

Always held that the transporter, with some fine tuning would make an excellent torture-device, or hideous method of execution.

How about just transporting someone into space. Or into a rock mass. Or transport two people to the same location. What a mess that could be.

The first two that came to mind were Kivas Fajos' weapon and the agony booth. Although not shown on screen, I would hate to be smothered or violated by a Founder.

Force them to earn their red wings with Luoxwana Troi..that might cause instant death too!!!

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. :(

Talk about a sick man Mr. Scorpio. ;)

being anatomically inverted...it's what happened to some Klingons who went into the "Expanse" but apparently they survived that one...

back onto the transporter as a torture dice...what about messing with the transporter pattern and materializing them with their legs for arms and arms for legs...

You are a sick puppy!

I thought the salt monster was bad but I realized the worst way to go:

"Crewman Smith received orders to accompany Mr. Spock and the Captain on an away mission. Carefully slipping on his red security shirt, he headed for the door of his quarters-and certain doom.":guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

I'll try not to duplicate what's already been said. How about having all those worm things from that parasite episode in your body while your skin is phasered off and your head explodes?

Those Vidians did some nasty stuff in Voyager. Take your pick.

While most of my Star Trek orientation is in the movies and the Original Series, of everything that was witnessed during the 5 year mission and the ten motion pictures, I personally think that the transporter accident is the most chilling of them all.
