I'v gotten this message when I try and search for something
About this page

Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot.

even after entering the code correctly

I run scans to see if there is a virus and the come back clean.
what may be the problem?
thanks in advance Bill.

On the Google Support page it says

When Google detects that a computer or phone on your network may be sending automated traffic to Google we may show the following message: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network."

The error page most likely displays a CAPTCHA (a squiggly word with a box below it). To continue using Google, type the squiggly word into the box -- it's how we know you're a human, not a robot.

And then it offers suggestions what to do if the CAPTCHA doesn't work i.e running various Malware detector programs and if they don't work running HiJackThis.

I get similar messagea every now and then, but usually the subsist when I adjust the number of random searches I've set track-me-not to do!
