Legendary Voice of Charlie passes away.

Dynasty's patriarch and voice of Charlie on Charlie's Angels, John Forsythe, has passed away. He was 92.
Forsythe lost his year-long battle with cancer on Friday in Santa Ynez, Calif., after suffering complications from pneumonia, his publicist told the Associated Press.
"He died as he lived his life... with dignity and grace, after a year-long struggle with cancer," his family said in a statement.
Forsythe won two Golden Globes for his role as Blake Carrington on the ABC nightime drama Dynasty, which aired from 1981 to 1989, and his former costars Joan Collins and Heather Locklear fondly remember their time with the actor.

He will be missed.

I actually saw a movie with Forsythe and a then very young Ann-Margret not too long ago. While the storyline was pure soap opera (older married man getting in trouble with a hot younger woman), what made me watch it was Forsythe's performance--I found myself feeling sympathy for his character when I really shouldn't have.

There'll be one less star in the sky above Hollywood tonight...
