Haven't seen this mentioned yet, so here goes...

This Friday, 13th March, The Horror Channel will come to Freeview, Digital Terrestrial Television. Channel 70. It's running a trailer reel now, so retune your Freeview boxes and TVs.

So far it's been a free to air satellite channel, but this extends its reach.

Horror shows classic Doctor Who, two episodes repeated three times a day during the week, and on the weekend, four episode stories re-edited into a movie length broadcast.

They have a library of some forty something serials. On Friday they'll be showing episodes 2 and 3 of The Stones of Blood, the weekend has the Ark in Space in its entirety, and the first serial from the beginning is The Androids of Tara, beginning Monday...

Cool. RetroTV picked it up in August, here in the 'States, and I've been gorging on the classic episodes. The only problem is, the channel they're on is at the edge of my broadcast range so if it is windy or (apparently) very rainy, I lose signal. I was trying to watch "The Daemons" yesterday, but I lost the signal not long after "Chap with the wings. Five rounds, rapid."
