Good free dvd program that takes screenshots

Can anyone recommend me a dvd program thats free, good quality, and that can take screenhots?

PowerDVD (version 6) came with my laptop and will do screen captures. I never upgraded to the full version and this one works fine.

VLC player is free and can definitely take screenshots, I tried that out just now.

(I generally use Zoom Player Professional for DVDs, but it costs a bit for the full version)

Forgive me for douchebaggery, but I think he means "free to download" as opposed to "free with a new laptop".

I've found Kaffeine to be much better at taking screenshots than VLC.

^ Yeah, but that's strictly for Linux running KDE (of course an OS requirement was never stipulated).
