Good Behavior on TNT

Anybody else watching GOOD BEHAVIOR on Tuesday nights? We're only four episodes in, but I'm hooked so far . . . and curious to see where they're going to with it. So far it feels like one long Hitchcock movie as opposed to an episodic series . ...

Good behavior (not the show itself) is inherently undramatic and often boring. GAME OF THRONES, THE SOPRANOS, OZ and THE WIRE, among other dramas, are rife with interesting negativity. (Maybe SIX FEET UNDER to a lesser degree.) The obvious exceptions to this HBO ''rule'' are their World War II miniseries. They're good dramas, too.

Trust me, the GOOD BEHAVIOR title is ironic. The heroine is a recovering drug addict and ex-convict whose (largely unsuccessful) attempts to get back on the straight and narrow are complicated when she crosses paths with a suave but ruthless professional hitman . ....

It's all very dark and twisty--in a good way.

Wow. Nobody has touched this thread for over a month? Am I the only person hooked on this show?

For what it's worth, I enjoyed the Season Finale.

Wonder if we'll get a Season Two?

:techman:
I discovered Good Behavior while surfing through my cable system's On Demand service and got hooked on it pretty quickly. Later on, I saw Michelle Dockery on Downton Abbey during a PBS marathon and my jaw just dropped as I couldn't believe it was the same actress playing Lady Mary and Letty. Just amazing. I totally love Letty's interactions with her mother, Javier, and Jacob (he may not look like her, but he's definitely his mother's son).

Haven't seen all of the season finale yet, but I kinda got wind of how it ended and how it just begs for a season two (which I hope we get).

It's interesting that TNT On Demand has a sanitized version (presumably for broadcast) and an "explicit" version (complete with plenty of f-bombs).

That is awesome news. I can only imagine what new kind of troubles Letty will get in.
:D

Most them self-inflicted!

Thanks to the holidays, I missed one episode by mistake. The one with Javier's family reunion. Gonna have to try to catch up with that one.

I'm just starting it, well, I just finished episode 4. Was this made to be played somewhere else uncensored? A few scenes are noticeably bleeped out and it has the feel of a show not meant for TNT. Definitely an interesting show.... i thought there would be more episodic story of the week crimes, but so far it seems very serialized. One of the more interesting things I've started lately.

I'm told, but have not confirmed, that there are less bleeped-out versions available on-line.

But it's interesting how they handle the F-word, where you hear just enough of the word to make you think you think you're hearing "fuck" even if it's actually more like "ffff . .". It's like you get a bit of an "fff" sound before the audio cuts out. Or at least that's what it sounds like.

"I don't fff---care what you say! We need to get the fff-- out of here!"
