Too many variables. What's it on: Network? Cable? Premium cable? Who's in it? What's its timeslot? What sort of commitment does it have from the Studio/Network? Do the producer/writers have a longvterm plan?
How dark would you like this show to get? Or, to be more specific, how dark would you want the protagonist to become?
Darker than the darkest black hole, from which no light can escape.
Or, let's make it a comedy! A lot of nasty humor, but basically just a fun romp.

Joe, given that the last post was by you and over two months ago, it's better to let it be to see if there is still valid interest in the topic. Two months really isn't all that long, I know... but still just let a thread play itself out by watching to see if others pitch in.
Yeah, you're right. I'm just afraid of this thread fading away like some other threads have faded away on this forum.
