Gmail Themes

I'm using Terminal- very funky! Although very annoying to read if the person you're e-mailling to replies with a font set to blue...

I liked the Phantasea one too - it was cool how it changed during the day.

EDIT: I've just looked and can't find a mountain theme for mine, so I should say that I'm using Firefox.

I'm using the sunset theme, and it's quite lovely. I have been hoping that they would add a feature like this for a while now.

I decided to stick with the basic blue. One of the things I've always loved about Gmail was the lack of clutter. In a way, it's disappointing to start seeing it creep in.

I quite like Tree. It's simple and uncluttered, but still adds a touch of colour. I also like that it changes depending on the weather—I've been amused watching it snow in my inbox.

Ditto.

I like Gmail because I can click my little FF envelope, Gmail opens, I scan through, I'm out in about 30 seconds, no need to wait for everything to load. Even on a high speed connection flash objects and html objects take some time. It's why I chose Gmail in the first place, just click and you're reading your mail in a split second. Plus, there are other things I'd rather Gmail focus on than themes. I consider the themes aspect too MSN or Yahoo-ish.

Well it's not like the themes change the entire layout of the page or something, it's just different colors and in some of them, a couple of images. I like being able to change the color because I like to coordinate everything on my computer to my current desktop theme. Right now I have a Fall theme so everything is brown, red, and yellow. The blue Gmail didn't fit in with that and it actually really bothered me...
Also, when I used WindowBlinds, the text in Gmail wouldn't show up with some themes.

Terminal looks cool, but is extremely obnoxious at the same time. Phantasea and Planets look cool (along with a lot of others). I barely use my gmail account any more because I have a University e-mail, but it's a cool bit of customization.

I love terminal. I grew up with computers like that, and I often use that look on my current computer.

I'm using Pebbles. And I'd like more choices. You people out there who make these things - get busy! :)

Nightshade here. Pretty much like the original but the whiteness of the background has been replaced with a cool blueish gray.
