Quincy, FTW.
I do have a soft spot for BSG, Buck Rogers, and Knight Rider too, though.
Quincy is good example how television has changed. Same basic ideals as CSI but without the blood n cuts - which couldn't be shown in the 70s (and when it comes down to it - I think Quincy is the much better of the two).
Not to mention featuring Oscar Madison, vet of the TZ, "12 Angry Men", & 100's of other TV shows, plays & films
The actor who played Speed was also on Quincy, M.E.. Don't know his name
Did Felix Unger ever guest-appear on Quincy ala Spock on TJ Hooker, Al on ENT, & other like examples?
By Oscar Madison, you mean Jack Klugman, right? I must admit, when I think of Oscar, I think of Walter Matthau, who played the character in the movie version of The Odd Couple, not of Jack. Good replacement though!
A quick look at idmb reveals that Tony Randall, Felix in the tv version of TOC, didn't ever appear in Quincy. Interestingly enough, I see also that Tony and Jack did a tv Odd Couple reunion, The Odd Couple: Together Again in 1993, 5 years before Matthau and Jack Lemmon got together for their ill-advised belated sequel The Odd Couple II in 1998.
Waaaaaaay off topic now! Sorry!
