I wonder if Clint is tired of that.
If you've ever seen Torchwood, you'd know that Davies would be pretty awesome at the helm, although I'd pray to God they give it to Ronald D. Moore.
You sure about that? Considering what he did to BSG, I don't think to many fans would be happy with what he'd do to Trek. Besides, we did dark and gritty: we had DS9.
I like his DS9 episodes, but, yea, we certainly don't want him going NuBSG Dreary with TrekIf you've ever seen Torchwood, you'd know that Davies would be pretty awesome at the helm, although I'd pray to God they give it to Ronald D. Moore.

Wholeheartedly agreed. If there is one person who should NEVER get within five thousand miles of Star Trek again, it's Ron Moore.
I'd like to see a collaboration between Ira Steven Behr and Nicholas Meyer.

Works for me, although Meyer's insistence on Starfleet's military aspects were a little off-putting.
But the bottom line for me (and this is subjective, of course), Star Trek was really awesome whenever those guys had the pen or took charge.
