The first book is called Afterglow, and is a look into when I was a child and how I grew up as a gamer. The second is called The Virtual Boy Game Library, and looks at the Virtual Boy system as well as all 14 NTSC games released for it. So, why am I posting this in a Star Trek forum? Because for the past two years I have also been working on a book that takes a look at EVERY officially licensed Star Trek videogame for console and PC, and will also look at some of the other Trek games (such as the Klingon Challenge board game and two of the Star Trek Pinball machines). The book will have a similar format to the Virtual Boy book, but a LOT longer since there are so many more games to cover. Right now I am wrapping up the SNES and early PC era (stuff like Starfleet Academy) and moving on to my favorite era when Activision had the license for PC. But I wanted you guys and others to have a look at my work for free, so my first two small books are free til the 5th of this month as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Retro Gaming Roundup, and for the people here to get a look at what is coming. www.amazon.com/author/chrisleathco So, if you have time and want something to read, give these a look and give a quick review if you can, I'm an amateur at writing anything longer than a blog and looking for feedback.
