Give me an F, give me an I, give me a R, give me an E, give me a D...

Should have been fired?

The students should riot.

Re: Give me an F, give me an I, give me a R, give me an E, give me a D

That sucks. There must be some very disappointed students at that school.

Umm...high schools in the States get outside sourced cheerleading coaches?

Man, you guys take your sports seriously.

I think what she does off the clock isn't reason to get fired unless it breaks the law (that's my immediate thought). What do you say?

Teachers have a code of conduct they're expected to follow when in public.

They're made aware of this when they're hired.

Playboy is most decidedly public.

She's an idiot.

She should not have been fired.

Tell me about it. I assumed college or university when I saw cheerleading coach...

What bothers me more is that the girls didn't give the principal the pictures until they were told they didn't make the team. That said, they probably wouldn't have given him the pictures if they did make the team... Bitches...

Agreed

A teacher posing in Playboy? Not very good PR.

Where were all these hot teachers when i was in school?

There was apparently a generational die-off in the late nineties when all of our teachers (who had been teaching since Eisenhower) finally bit it and were replaced by hot, horny co-eds who want nothing more than share their boobies with 14 year olds.

No, they shouldn't have fired her. She was not doing this on the job, it doesn't affect how she does her job, and it's just reflective of the usual moral bullshit the American people like to foist on others. This is as stupid as when the Air Force got rid of one of its best MTIs because she did a pictorial in Playboy. Well, almost as stupid, because the Air Force actually had to break its own rules to drum her out.

It does, however, reflect on the IMAGE of her job and thus on the integrity and image of the school. Would you want YOUR child's teacher to be an Playboy?

Honestly, it would make the parent-teacher meetings more fun. ;)

I wouldn't care. If anything I'd probably be jealous of my kid. It's not like the centerfold is pinned up there in the classroom, either, and I certainly wouldn't be whipping my copy of that issue out for the kid, either, but I'd still trust her to be professional and do her job. That would be my only concern - how she does her job. The image excuse is bullshit, and to be quite frank someone at that school is a fucking hypocrite because it's pretty obvious they were looking through their copy of that month's Playboy when they saw her. Probably fapped to her, too.
