Gingerbread for HTC Evo?

I've been looking all over but haven't been able to find anything. Anyone have any idea when we might see this?

Probably when everyone else does. Gingerbread doesn't seem to have been deployed to many devices yet.

Gingerbread is only out officially on the Nexus S so far. There are already AOSP Gingerbread ROMs for the EVO if you like living on the wild side, not sure what state they're in though.

I've got a Nexus One (the phone they frickin developed 2.3 on) and I'm still waiting. You'll get it probably two months after I do, given how the 2.2 and 2.2.1 rollouts went.

I've been running an AOSP 2.3 ROM the past few weeks on my Nexus One, aside from some banded graphics (due to a lack of proper drivers) and really long GPS lock times it's actually pretty solid.

I will probably load GB on my myTouch4G soonish once they fix a few more bugs. Rooting is the only way to go with Android devices.
