Gimme some names to do ST computer's voice

Photon

Commodore
Commodore
Jessica Simpson but only if an image is included w/the voice.

Seriously, I don't know.

I always like Judy Durand as the Cardassian version of Majel Barret. They were a nice contrast.

As an all new computer voice I would go with either James Earl Jones or Kelsey Grammer. :D

I would bring back Judi Durand. If I recall correctly she once voiced the Enterprise computer (Yes I know she was the DS9 computer voice, but I recall her as an Enterprise computer as well).

Lexa Doig. She has 3 advantages:

1. Has a nice smooth, clear, mellow voice.

2. Already "blessed" from her involvement with the Roddenberry-inspired series Andromeda.

3. Nice to look at if she also plays an onscreen role like Majel did.

Yeah, I liked Judi Durand too, maybe even better than Majel, but I still like Majel.. It's so sad she died, but at least she was able to get one last credit as the 'ole computer in XI...

He'd be great at "WORKING!", then. ;)

Actually, I think the Enterprise computer voice should remain female. I hadn't thought of her, but the suggestion above of Lexa Doig is fantastic.

She did the Federation computer voice in countless video games. I doubt most casual fans could have even told the difference.

Steve Buschemi. Drunk.

Lexa's a good suggestion. Or let's just sample Majel's one and only voice and use that for real.

That would be great.

For some reason the first name that came to mind was Zoe Wanamaker.

Either that or Martok. The character, not the actor. With a little Klingon song while you wait on the computer working away.

Durand would be my first choice, though the voice has been the same FOREVER, so any change would be a mite jarring.
Either her or as others have stated, Lexa.
Failing her, Teryl Rothery (aka Dr Frasier from Stargate), she's done voice work in the past.
