Gilligan really was lost!

Yup, Gilligan's Island and "The Conscience Of The King" sent me to the library looking for Shakespeare. There weren't too many nine year olds doing that. :rommie:
 
I've got to be the only person on the BBS who got their username by mixing characters from Gilligan's Island and ST Voyager! :lol:


That reminds me, Jonas Grumby should be participating in this thread!
 
I just got one of those 24 hour monster movie dvd packs, and half of em are the old gamera movies, so i'm kinda set for a while tho

I love Showa Gamera, but Matango is about three cuts above. I'd still give it a peek.
 
Very thoughtful posts, everyone. GI has always held a special place in my heart. For me the reason we never saw the castaways pair off as couples was that they ultimately came to see each other as siblings, with the Howells as mom and dad. The character interactions were much more in the way that families behave, rather than friends or associates.

Yeah, I agree; they very much became a family. They really belonged together.
