That's interesting, however with Finnegan, they missed the mark completely, he was a guy that bullied Kirk in his teenage years and kept bullying him even as an imaginary person in Shore Leave, very different from the Finnegan in Beyond.

In fact, Finnegan was to Kirk what his brother was to Picard.
