This sounds bad but maybe Jay gets really ill for an episode and in his fevered delirium, is able to see the ghosts.
Or he only thinks he's able to see the ghosts. Then you can stunt cast and for the ghosts he doesn't know what they look like, cast their UK counterparts.
Nah that would be such a cop out! Jay deserves to see the ghosts as Sam does. The fact that he can’t see them but still feels like they are friends makes for some hilarious moments!
I assumed one of the lesser ghosts got sucked off as well.

On the plus side, we finally got Flower back. The revelation about Hetty was a sad aspect.
I love seeing flashbacks of the ghosts! Yes very sad about Hetty. But so happy to have Flower back!
