To which he has to giggle while saying "I slimed him, Ray!"
And then off-camera we hear one of them say: "Ugh, gross! That ... didn't just happen!"
I also feel like there needs to be a build up to a creepy ass haunting in whatever small town they're in. People are freaking out, the house has been vacant because no one will stay there. Maybe some Ghost Hunters go to investigate, there's some shaky-cam work, then we see Slimer come into view, the Ghost Hunters piss their pants and run out 
Ohhh, that'd be great! Ghost Hunters claiming to be professionals and who flee at the first sign of the real thing

Anyways, yeah it’s surprising they kept the cast so secret so far. Makes you wonder when we will get a first story based teaser trailer. Next July is not that far off. Perhaps in front of the holiday releases in December.
I wonder what the chances would be of Carrie Coon's character being the offspring of Zuul and Vinz Clortho? I always thought that was a HUGE missed opportunity in Ghostbusters II, having Oscar be the child between the possessed Dana and Louis. Could be they actually did conceive, and the child was put into hiding in upstate New York, far enough away from Spook Central. I could see some Omen type shit surrounding her as she got older and maybe that's what this movie will focus on. She was born in 1981, so it wouldn't be TOO much of a stretch for her to play someone three years younger.
That's what I was thinking, but remember, in GB II, the guys are SUPER awkward around Oscar. That's definitely not how someone with kids should act toward a valued friend's/client's kid. The ages don't add up if we consider maybe Carrie Coon is Louis and Janine's kid, as the baby would only be thirty in present day. She could be Winston's kid, but definitely not Egon, Ray's, or Peter's. Maybe a niece of one of the guys.
Paul Rudd's character is a seismologist who comes into town to examine mysterious earthquakes. He also teaches summer school. Lot of ways for him to be connected to the kids(possibly Egon's grandkids too) and the Ghostbusters.

I think we can safely assume that these earthquakes are part of whatever supernatural shenanigans are going on.
I hadn't really considered Carrie Coon's age compared to when the movies came out, but even if she is to old to be one of the guy's daughter, I still think she's going to have some kind of direct connection to the original movies.
