Here is a strange story from my state:

Long story short, a pregnant woman was walking somewhere in the Colorado Springs area, saw a bear, got scared and ran into the road where she was hit by a car. The good news is she just had minor injuries, but here is where the story gets a little strange:
It's a friggin' bear! Aside from maybe the color, how much different can one bear look from another bear when you're running in the opposite direction?

Wildlife agents are taking a picture of the bear to the woman to see if she can identify it as the same bear that scared her. If the tranquilized bear matches the color and size of the bear she was running from, then the bear would have to be put down, the Division of Wildlife said. If it's not the same bear, the bear would be released.
