Get rich quick scams

Facebook is being pelted with spam right now for Google get rich quick schemes. I feel particularly sorry for people that fall for this, because a bit of research just shows how fradulent they are.

For example (hotinking with impunity, these guys are scumball fraudsters).

Meet Kevin Hoeffer. Married to Audrey. He found out about the Google scheme through his own research.

Audrey also has her own website. But she found out through her cousin who is also her high school friend, which is strange if her husband is doing the same scheme. And also she's actually called Jennifer Donahue.

However there's a guy named Jeffrey Donahue, who you think'd be her boyfriend. But he's not. He's going out with someone else. Jim lives in the UK but interestingly got a $12,000 grant from the government - which is interesting, as I thought our currency was Pound Sterling.

Here, Kevin Hoeffer is back. Kevin is now a firefighter too, because obviously they are more trustworthy.

And here he is but now Kevin is called Jeff Donahue. But isn't that Jeff above? I'm confused.

Oh, and this is is Kevin Hoeffer! He's an American in France so must be rich! He must be trustworthy.

It's also interesting that the same kind hearted people go to all of their sites above, and commend their schemes. Dedicated users!

Finally if you're very excited to get involved, you can join at this site. But HURRY! There's a 10 minute countdown that begins as soon as you're at the site. Must rush! Although, of course, refreshing the page restarts the timer. If just bombs were like that.

I got an email from the UNITED NATIONS, the Department Of Lost Inheritance Distribution And Recovery today.

You'd think with all the great minds at the UN someone would know to turn off the caps-lock or run a spell-check...

Applying for a job on Careerbuilder these days won't net you a job - only a bunch of spam from the get-rich-quick scamsters.

I got two emails yesterday from the country of Poland. Apparently, Poland needs ME to help them in an expanded business opportunity that will only required 3-4 hours of work per day.

All I need, to get really rich on 3 hours work a day, AND help out poor Poland at the same time, is a bank account.

Imagine my surprise.

I've been applying to jobs at careerbuilder.com myself and have been getting these stupid emails about people in Africa, and God knows where else! I just avoid these things by pressing the delete button on my email!

Resucitating this thread with a timely and eye-opening news item at the BBC:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/8144730.stm

A US company has apologised after featuring a Welsh couple murdered on their Caribbean honeymoon as "happy customers" - a year after their deaths.

I think it's a shame the BBC calls them a company and allows them to apologise... they are not companies, they are scammers.

That is disgusting, especially the part at the bottom where the scammers' spokesman is lying through his teeth.

I went to their web site just to see what it was, and it even has the look of the typical scammer sites!

I win the UK Lottery about five times each month. One of these days I should collect. :p

I win several of those several times a month. I love how they provide a phone number you don't have a hope in hell of connecting to.

I've also been the beneficiary to thousands of dead people I've never met.

If even one of these things were real, my money troubles would be gone.

I win lotteries from all over the world. Too bad I never actually entered any. I also get the occasional Nigeria scam though they seem to be less common these days. Probably they are too overwhelmed themselves by the numerous scams sent to them to send any out to other people.
