German covers of "Zero Sum Game" and "Seize the Fire"

I like the four linked covers poster I saw. Why can't we get something like that here? The last similar cover I saw was the Captain's Table books...

Oooh, ouch. And I own Crucible. *lol*

And didn't Destiny have connecting covers too?

Yet seeing these covers just makes me think about how MEH the Typhon Pact covers have been. Other than Plagues of Night and Raise the Dawn, anyway.

I was not a fan of the Sisko on the RBoE cover, who looked far too young.

I thought this as well at first. But the book explains that Sisko grew his hair back out and shaved his goatee. So his appearance on the cover was actually more in line with how he appears in the story. I was actually impressed that Sisko was depicted correctly instead of the bald, bearded Sisko we are more familiar with.

The book does explain that. But the cover pic still looks like a first season publicity shot - far too young for a Sisko 7 years after "What You Leave Behind"

And you do look younger that way. Things like that have an effect on how old you look. And Sisko hairless and bearded looked older then Sisko without beard and with hair.

Even though I still think he looked more bad-ass with the beard and being bold.

Since it's never really mentioned (I believe) in PoN and RtD, when reading those two novels, how did everyone picture Sisko? To me, he looked like he did in season 4-7.

Although it obviously doesn't really matter in a novel, I think a lot of fans prefer Sisko's season 4 -7 look and hope a future novel portrays him with it. It was also Avery Brooks' favorite look as well.

Maybe now that Siko's life is back in order he'll shave his head and regrow the goatee. I would actually expect this as his appearance was a reflection of his mental state.
