I'm surprised this thread continues. There is absolutely nothing to do discuss even on a theoretical level regarding a third trilogy. Unless Lucas comes out and surprises everyone with an announcement there isn't going to be a third trilogy.

Ah, like Star Trek, all aliens in Star Wars live at least 200 years in order to facilitate cameos. We should have noticed this earlier as even the original trilogy established it on screen with Yoda and off screen with Chewbacca.

Yep, that's what I meant by "even the original trilogy" though strictly speaking I knew only Yoda's age is given in the trilogy itself. But I knew that I knew Chewie was around 200 well before the prequels were even a rumor so I included him anyway.
