You know, I used to hate this episode, now I'm becoming adicted to it and because of such, I have more questions I would like answered, as well as things I just wanted to comment on.
* First off, please excuse my abupt tone, but HOW THE HECK are Spot's children not effected by the intron virus?
* I do like that scene for one classic reason-
Picard: "They sound hungry..."
Data: "Yes, I am curious as to why Spot is not caring for them."
<Looks around and sees the Spot-deevolved Iguana>
Data, that's why.

And what's even more confusing is that Picard and Data suggested that Spot gave birth to the kittens at the same time she deevolved into the lizard.
* So, this must be the case -- when somebody is pregnant and is infected with the intron virus,
they are infected and
will deevolve but the child will not... hmmm... Braga, if you happen to be reading this, I would like to see you at a convention, so prepare yourself to be asked about this. This was a pretty interesting episode you wrote though.
* I love when the Enterprise had its systems non-functional and the rooms and corridors on emergency lightening mode... like in "Masks", which was a better episode, btw.
* Troi, if you were really
that cold, then why not go to the holodeck and create an evironment where you're at a 100-degree dessert, instead of making everybody on the bridge roast like pigs?
* I wish we would have seen the Arboretum again. We haven't seen it since "Dark Page". They were talking about it in this episode.
* In the scene before the opening when Spot's and Ogawa's pregnancies were revealed, Data talked about being an expected parent. Uh, Data, did you, well, screw your cat?

* Speaking of Ogawa's pregnancy, in "All Good Things..." she lost the baby due to miscarriage. But at the end, those things never happened as Q ended up taking him back to when he interupted Troi and Worf's intimate moment outside her quarters. So, after "All Good Things..." was Alyssa still pregnant? There was no mention, as far as I can recall, of her child.
* Speaking of the Arboretum, that's on Deck 17, when Worf was chasing down Picard, what did Picard need to go to Deck 17 for anyway?
* Picard and Data should have taken Geordi with them. Then that way, there would've been three people to work with to get the crew and ship back to normal. Plus, his appeaance wasn't that long in this episode anyway. He never showed symptoms of being infected by the virus, AND it sucks that we never saw what he deevolved into.
* I like when Data and Picard stepped into the corridors (after the cargobay part), you can hear the menacing grows and the female voices cries of pain. They should've been louder and lasted longer. That would've evoked more... fear and horror, which is what Braga wanted to be like anyway, no?
The funny parts:
* When in Engineering, the spider Barclay took Picard by surprise, and he was like "DATA!!" Then Data came up real fast!
*
Worf: "You've already risen the temperature three times. It is too hot!"
Troi: "F*ck you, Worf! Live with it! Computer, execute my original commands."
*
Picard: "Well, before I begin swinging through the ship, looking for breakfast, we better find some answers. How do we reverse the process?"
So, this episode was a bit scary, and a bit funny at the same time which is why I'm becoming interested in it!
* Oh, in season seven in general, I wish Troi had more chances to sit in Picard's chair. Sucks this was the only episode she did so. Oh, well. I guess there's always fanfiction for that.
