Genesis of the Daleks question

The Doctor talked about in "Rose," "The Parting of the Ways," and "The Fires of Pompeii," and we (sort of) saw it in action in "The Waters of Mars." Odd how it takes the form of 2010-era news.bbc.co.uk web pages, but go argue with Gallifrey.

The Seventh Doctor briefly mentions the Dalek invasion of Earth in the 22nd century in Remembrance, and the way he said it seemed to imply that it was still part of the current timeline.

Plus he made a reference to Planet of The Daleks when he was building the thing to screw up the Dalek's systems.

He's got a raging boner for museums remember.

Well it is how he keeps score.

It's all pretty much academic now anyway, because as of the current series Davros and the Daleks could never have existed at all, thanks to those damn Cracks.

^
Well hang on. We don't know how this Crack business is going to play out yet.

Yeh but he likes complaining despite the fact we have no evidence to state how the cracks truly works or what will happen. Moffat will not erase the entire history of Who for one hes too much of a classic Who fan to consider that.

I don't complain because I like to. I complain because IMO it doesn't look good and it worries me. If it's fine to me, then I'm happy. It's called having an opinion.

^ fair enough but my opinion is that your opinion is based off virtually no evidence

It's all pretty much academic now anyway

you word your posts as what your saying is fact and thats my objection. Nothing is academic, we still are missing 75% of the peices of the puzzle.

I'm assuming that the transenduction barrier surrounding gallifrey acts as some sort of timelock and/or timevalve (Think Janeway's temopral shields from Voy:Year of Hell.) that Gallerfey would stay the same as the universe's history and the future changed around it. However since the Daleks would one day have technology rivialling the timelords, then they too would have protected worlds (think kirk on the Guardian of forevers World) where they too woud be noticing all the unprotected space and worlds changing around them, and more so like bends and pressure that only entry to Gallifrey is possible from a single point in constant relation to whenth ey perceive 'now" to be, in so that even the future and historic timelords cannot attack their on counterparts in the present for poor decision making.
