General Trek Questions and Observations

He's less of a 'type' or 'character' to me as just a 'guy'. IE, he pretty much always felt like he was being himself regardless of who he was supposed to be. He was fun, though.
 
Are mirror universe Terrans inherently more evil than Federation humans (by nature) or were they just formed to be by their more brutal history (i.e. by nurture)?

They are opposite. Stalin would have been a caring philanthropist. Mr Rogers a murdering psychopath.

As a general rule, perhaps, but it's not a mathematically precise correspondence.

ROM: This is supposed to be an alternate universe, but their Captain O'Brien seems as nice as our Chief O'Brien.

Garak also seemed to be equally conniving in both universes, even though perhaps the mirror universe version was more evil. Mirror-Tuvok still seems to be on the 'good' side, helping the Terran rebellion, etc.
