Earlier tonight I watched an episode of the western series "Have Gun-Will Travel", the episode was written by Gene Roddenberry,
I looked at IMDB but the episode I saw wasn't listed, it was "Monster of _____ Mountain" as close as I can remember.
It's the first work of Gene Roddenberry I've seen not associated with Star Trek!

I haven't, of course he did most if not all of his screen writing for other series before pitching Star Trek!
I wonder if he made a good living before Star Trek, did he continue to write for other shows while TOS was on the air?

Sorry, it was just my little joke. It reminded me of an early TOS episode. I was implying that Gene had, maybe, "recycled" some of his earlier work. Sorry if I broke forum etiquette by misquoting you in that way.
