Gattaca/Truman Show screenwriter will adapt Stephanie Meyer's "Host"

Just in case anyone is interested, Andrew Niccol, who wrote the screenplays for two of my favorite SF films, Gattaca and The Truman Show, will be writing the screenplay for Stephanie Meyer's novel The Host. Here is the Variety article.

Hm...that's interesting choice. I can see him adapting the story fairly well.

I'm no fan of the Twilight series but The Host was actually very good.

I am intrigued, but dubious. I have no idea what the Host was about.

I always pass by the book cover in various stores. It should be interesting.
