Has anybody heard anything about what he's up to, not that he has to do anything else like ever according to me. Man this guy made my life all worth it. I have yet to scrape up a hundred bucks to buy his complete compilation. B. Kliban too. Where are these guys. The funniest guys in the universe. I can't even find a friken interview. Wierd. I think this has got to be my all-time favourite far side cartoon.
Haven't heard him mentioned in years. Back in my running days, I used to have bed sheets covered with pictures of the cat wearing red sneakers.
Kliban has been dead for a long time. Aside from the famous cats, he had a few collections of very surreal cartoons back in the 70s; I've got them all packed away here somewhere.
Larson did a couple of children's books, I believe, but has otherwise been retired. Which is a shame, because Far Side was one of the best comics ever.

^ I'm sorry to hear that Kliban is gone. But it sure would be nice if Larson would come out of retirement occasionally. You're right, Far Side was one of the best ever.

I just looked up Kliban on Amazon and you can get a 2012 cat calendar. It looks like only one of his cartoon collections is still in print, though. Somebody should do a complete collection of his work; like Vaughn Bode, he's a genius who is quickly becoming forgotten.

I, too, miss The Far Side, though I can understand the reasoning of wanting to go out on top. I heard third-hand once that he didn't want his characters shilling for Met-Life.
