Gary Coleman, R.I.P.

He lived here in the Denver area and spent a lot of time at Caboose Hobbies on Broadway where he indulged his hobby of model trains. I think his ailment is in part what brought him to fame but it also held him back from reaching his full potential. He was never taken seriously as an adult actor because he never grew up in the perception of the viewing public.
RIP Garry.

Acting is something that he should never have done in the first place. This whole sad situation sounds like the episode of Batman: The Animated Series about the character Baby Doll (Betty Dahl) whose short stature kept her from being an actress later in life, as well as anything else that was good. Just like Gary.
