What original games(video games) would be great for a SF/F TV series???

I don't know really, cause I haven't played much in recent years...but would love to hear what you think.

I have to second this; awesome game and a great story. I also think that Mass Effect could be interesting, as well as Halo.

Myst, if only for the visuals. As for the plotline, well, I'm sure they can come up with something.

Alone in the Dark freaked me out when I played it. I guess it became a movie, right? I'm sure it sucked so I won't bother with that.

I'm not into the FPS thing, so it's been a long time since I played games...

They've tried to make a series based of Wing Commander twice. The first attempt would have been based off Privateer, where an ex-confed navy captain starts a trading business and eventually runs into a plot involving Steltek and the Black Lance, and a series based on Wing Commander one.

There actually was one produced, a short-lived animated series called Wing Commander Academy. It was set on the TCS Tiger's Claw not long before WC1, and Mark Hamill, Tom Wilson, and Malcolm McDowell all reprised their roles.
