Game over, man. RIP Bill Paxton.

I remember him best as Fred Haise in Apollo 13, one of my favorite movies. RIP Bill Paxton, 61 is far too young to die... :(

:(

I first saw him in Terminator, but mostly remember him for Apollo 13, Aliens and True Lies.

Rest in peace:(

Apollo 13 and Aliens were pretty big movies for me when I was growing up. He was an underrated actor, imo. He'll be missed for sure.

Just read that and shared it onward... Nice tribute.

This is the full story of Paxton's collaboration with Barnes and Barnes.

Bill Paxton had some ambitions as a filmmaker at that time, and it was he who directed the video; he also appeared in it. The video, which also featured Dr. Demento, was always something of an oddity in that it was produced before MTV had even started up—when it did play on MTV, it often felt like a deep cut excavated from the distant era of who-knows-when. Fellow Texan Rocky Schenck served as the cinematographer, and Haimer’s girlfriend at the time, Joan Farber, designed the costumes.

I remember him from Twister and from Titanic. Two really good roles. I'll have to give the former a watch this weekend. RIP Mr. Paxton and thanks.

And loved to make music.. Hot Dog is still one of my favs.. Didn't realize Martini Ranch got past the 80s. This is pretty catchy if just plain silly..
