Game of Thrones Episode 1.3 - "Lord Snow" - Rate and discuss

I thought it was a very solid episode. The water-dancing scene felt perfect, and I loved finally getting to see more of the Wall. Having read the first two books so far, the plotline with Jon, the Wall, and the Night's Watch is probably my overall favourite, with Arya a close second.

One minor quibble would be the scene with Jon and Tyrion on the Wall at night. In the book, that bit is very foreboding, but I didn't get anywhere near the same sense from the show.

Hmmmm. While I can appreciate the quality of this show, it's just not really working for me, 3 episodes in. Shame, because I really want to like it. I'll give it a while longer but I don't know, it just leaves me cold.

if anyone here is a fan of the novels there is a new anthology which just came out called warriors 1 edited by george r r martin and he has a new a game of thrones short story "the mystery knight".
