On that mountain top when they kissed I could hear Peter Falk, could you hear Peter Falk?

(I could also hear Maria Von Trap.)

I'm finding this season to be a real drag. I hope the pace picks up because its getting really boring at times. There are far too many plots to cover, with each character getting about 2 minutes of screen time per episode.

If you think this is bad, just wait until we get to books 4 and 5.

Yeah - methinks there's going to be some serious artistic license going on when we get into those teleplays.

How wide is the wall? The section they were standing on at the end made it look like 30 feet at most! That's pretty thin for a wall that's 700 feet tall!

I just wish we had actually seen Tyrion breaking the bad news to Sansa. Poor Sansa.

It's kinda weird how so many things are left to your imagination lately. So many things are implied that might be great to be seen on screen, yet they aren't. Like I think I'd rather see Ros getting killed than any more Jon Snow romance scenes.
That would ruin the reveal. Sometimes it is better to let the audience imagine a thing, because it will almost always be more terrifying/horrible than what you could show them.

The crows probably empty buckets over the side to maintain the consistency and thickness of the wall... The wall should be yellow. Seriously if you knew that thing was 80 percent piss would you really go near it, god forbid climb it?

Why do you have to be so unpleasant in every thread you post in?

But yes in the books they do mention that the Night's Watch add ice to the wall regularly.

I know people have to be pretty on tv but it would be nice if Ygritte was actually rougher looking as she is in the books. At least black out a tooth.

There is no Sugar beyond the wall.

What ever primitive means they have for cleaning their teeth balances out against that.

Tyrion and Brienne are also described as rather hideous in the books.

It's a TV show. People aren't going to want to watch a bunch of ugly people running about. It's just one of those things that comes with the territory.
