THis idea has had be giggling and I thought I'd share.

Next summer would be a great time for a second Galaxy Quest movie, staring all the original cast, as they react to the news that their revival show is going to be rebooted as a movie, with an all new, younger cast. some would be happy, life would be over for others, some can't take the 'younger' part. Fans come to their support. Movie mogels see only $$$. Lens flares everywhere. Thermians very confused.

I have to admit that sounds like it would be pretty funny!! Maybe some bad aliens could kidnap the new actors and then the old actors have to save them!

That actually does sound pretty damn good, though it makes me wish DeForrest Kelley was alive to participate in something like that. That man was damn funny at times.

I don't understand why they haven't made another Galaxy Quest movie. It might not have been a major block buster, but I thought it was well received. A Galaxy Quest sequel would beat "Cinderella 5: Cinderella's Magical Trip to the Lion King" (subtitle: So Disney Can Squeeze A Few More Dollars Out of That Corpse).
