I prefer the original Galaxy design. The space between the nacelles is too wide on this one.

Agreed.

And I love the Galaxy's neck. The lack of neck on this one bugs me.

It looks squashed. No neck means obviously that it poses less of a military target. Having said that, I really did like the Galaxy class design.

This is cool.

I think I will add this to my list of 3d projects.

That picture reminds me of the pylons in this Probert drawing. It's a subtle difference, but I've always liked it more than the U shape of the regular ship.

It's NOT the Korolev. It's called the Andromeda-Class, and it's from the Starship Schematic Database. I also like it.
