I found this picture online, but I just can't remember where. Does anyone know where this came from?

I just fell in love with this redesign. It fixes all of the things I don't like about the Enterprise D, while keeping all of the good things. It's like a blending of the Galaxy with the Sovereign, and I love the Sovereign.

What do the rest of you guys think about it? Is there anyone out there willing to make a 3d version of this?

Raise the saucer just enough not to get blown right the hell off by the deflector, turn the saucer ninety degrees so its longer front to back. But, otherwise it's nice!

The saucer is directly connected to the secondary hull without a neck, which gives it that more streamlined aerodynamic-like look, just like the Sovereign. The "back", where the shuttle bay is, curving down into the secondary hull just makes me think of the Sovereign.

Ah, I see what you mean. Well, the deflector could probably use a bit more clearance, but other than that it appears a sensible rearrangement of the familiar Galaxy-shape components. I appreciate the aft hull undercut.

As for where it comes from, this is evidently a fan design for the unseen Andromeda class of starship. Okuda placed some unseen ships into this class in the Encyclopedia, leaving fans to wonder what it looks like. Judging by the registries, they are quite modern ships. I believe this is one of many fan designs that we must source to "the internet," but shipschematics.net might have more detailed credits for it, if you can find it there.

It's called the Korolev Class. There is also a dreadnought version of it.

This site has similar looking views, but the 3 Korolevs are other types of ships compared to that one. Maybe they have it under another name.

I like it a fair deal better than other "Sovereignifications" of the Galaxy-Class. At least the artist here had the mind to not paste black triangles all over it and give it impulse decks the size of shuttlebays.

saucer size need to be smaller and saucer itself little higher because of the deflector disk, other then that its okey. But I have never been fan of Galaxy class design

It looks squashed. No neck means obviously that it poses less of a military target. Having said that, I really did like the Galaxy class design.
