Nice work. I'm not entirely sure about the single pylons, but they do give character alright!
 
Nice! and eh, asymetrical ;) of course that makes me curious what is on the other side of the ship, something bulky/gun turret-y to offset the weight of the pylons maybe? :shifty::biggrin:

Thanks man. You know how I feel about competitions...hence why I didn't enter :/ lol, but I am really glad you like the work. I opted the one wing curving pylon because I felt it added more character to the design's simplicity.

LOL yeah I'm cool with that...lol
 
It one certainly looks like some of the Gorn ships from FASA.

A lot of the FASA designs weren't exactly groudbreaking. Oftentimes they just stretched them more and more get to a new design.
 
Gotcha. I guess the Orions would use their neighbors components with some regularity. --Alex

The Orions would buy, borrow or steal their neighbor's ships whenever possible. I can't remember if FASA claimed their designs were original or not.
