or not so much . . . I want to input "80°" into a text field in the back end of my company's website, but it comes out "80°" . . . how do I keep the "Â" from being in there?

I'm just using the ALT+0186 command to get the degree symbol, so I'm guessing it has to do with how the database saves the info . . . sadly all I have access to is the input portion of the back end stuff . . .

You're looking for "80°", assuming whatever program(s) you're using doesn't strip out the HTML code.
