Fun thread: Words that you like the sound of

I shoulda made that left at Albakoikie.

Even better!

My Favorite Bugs Scene of all time:

Bugs and Yosemite on the Pirate Ship with Bugs throwing lit matches belowdecks into the "Powder Room", and Yosemite coming back up with them, still lit, of course, and blowing them out so we can see...

"If'n ya does that just a' one more tahm, I ain't'a goin' after it!"

Pure. Genius! :guffaw:

did someone already say

Zeitgeist?

Quadrotriticale

Aureole (too PG-13?) plus, no one can pronounce it correctly. like "Nuclear".

Cerebellum It's a really fun sounding word, well to me anyway but hard to put into every day use hehe. But I've always loved the sound of it when you say it.

Hillbilly Hare is the TRUE genius. :techman:

Not just for the dance itself, which is legendary, but the little things like "SQUARE DANCE TOMORRY NIGHT".

Today's fun word: Beelzebub.

Corpus Callosum. It sounds like a seaside resort for geniuses.

Can't really think of words I really like the sound of other than the Spanish word rotulador, which I think is a felt -tip pen or something similar.

On the other hand, I really hate the word beautiful. Can't stand it. The irony is that it feels like an ugly word. It runs right through me when I think of it - rather like the cliché of someone rubbing their fingers on a blackboard. Maybe there's just something wrong with me.

A word I really hate is 'lover'. Ironic, considering what it's supposed to describe, but it just sounds so cold and ruthless and impersonal. I would never talk about someone I'm with, using that word.
