Fun Nature Shows?

I'm looking for something to get my fiancee for her b-day. She really likes those fun nature shows like Jeff Corwin Experience and Wildboyz. Shows that are funny and goofy and light and not at all serious, that travel around the world to exotic locals showing amazing animals. And preferably where the host takes insane risks playing around with lethal creatures :D What other shows are like that?

I think Jeff Corwin is too goofy and corny. I'd go with Steve Irwin. He did know the stuff and what he was doing.

There is a show that she might like called Expedition Africa. It is on the History channel. Here is a link to info about it and a little video: Link

I don't know if it would make a great gift though because it is just now airing. But you might want to let her know about it anyway.

And you didn't mention it specifically but I'll assume you know about the shows like Man v. Wild and Survivorman. Slightly different but still show great locales and naturey stuff.

Survivorman? I thought that a joke in the US-Office about Survivor :p So in that and Man v. Wild do they go looking for exotic dangerous animals?

In Survivorman the host goes out into the wilderness on his own with a camera and very few supplies to show how you would survive in the environment if you became lost or stranded. I recommend you read the Wikipedia page on it as it is quite a fascinating show.

Man vs. Wild is a very similar show that also looks at surviving in the wildnerness. The various locations for both of these shows can be quite interesting.

They don't focus specifically on animals, just nature itself, but animals are often encountered. Who can ever forget the time that the host of Man vs. Wild drank the liquid he squeezed out of an elephant poo...
