Fun Books

Saratoga NX-3842

Supreme Overlord of the Universe
What are some Fun Books in the light of Q In Law, IQ and Q Squared that are just a lot of FUN when you are reading them and you are having a good time. I need a written pick me up.

Star Trek: West Wing...I mean Articles of the Federation. KRAD writes the book like an extended episode of the West Wing and its great fun from start to finish.

If we can get enough people to buy the book we might get a sequel (although we may be getting something along those lines after the Destiny trilogy fallout).

I think anything written by KRAD falls into this category.

I suppose if I were to choose just one I'd pick "Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed" in Worlds of DS9 Volume 3.

A Rock and A Hard Place by Peter David. One maverick Starfleet captain + one diplomatic fiasco + Riker trapped on a snowy planet, attempting to fight off snowy beasts and the advances of a teenage girl = great fun! :)

Yeah, but that is just a short story, not a whole book. I'd also have to go with anything written by KRAD. His books are pretty much always guarenteed to be fun.

While I truly appreciate the kind words, I suspect my streak of "fun" books is going to be broken with A Gutted World.....

^ Well, you'd obviously be the best placed to know, but I didn't think someone could make a universe of oppression, betrayal and murder into a fun story. Then came Mirror-Scaled Serpent...

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

 Fair enough. But the MU lends itself to fun, at least to some degree. But AGW is by far the most depressing thing I've ever written....

I will certainly agree with the nomination of Q & A. A TOS book, Mudd in your Eye, was also a terrific romp.
