Full Seasons of THE EVENT, LAW & ORDER: LA, OUTSOURCED, CHUCK

Hooray for low standards because NBC's ratings continue to suck! :rommie:

Hopefully next year they won't be so damn timid about what they trot out.

I was just going to post about this and call it The Death of NBC.

A new iCarly was shown last Monday at 8pm with over 6 million viewers. It's ratings beat 11 of the 17 shows on NBC that week.

NBC bragged about how great their new shows are and that's why Heroes and L&O didn't get final 13 episodes. Boy were they wrong.

Maybe Comcast will be smarter and show ads for new NBC shows on other networks besides NBC because nobody sees those ads!

It's great that Chuck got a full season, but really, I wouldn't have expected it to last 1 season with those ratings, let alone 4.

I know broadcasters covet the 18-35 demo for marketing purposes to sell more advertising... How do they feel about the 8-13 demo? Maybe they should pick-up iCarly lol.

The pickup for Outsourced makes me think Community is officially doomed, as NBC will need the Thursday slot freed up to bring back Parks and Recreation in the spring. Too bad, as Outsourced is clearly the weakest show of the night.

I'm stunned and pleasantly surprised about Outsourced. I'm not sure why I like it so much, it's not LOL funny like some shows, but somehow I still find it entertaining. I guess the characters intrigue me, and it's a little different.

There is a theory that NBC might make another hour of comedy shows somewhere like CBS did this year because they have so many holes to fill. My suggestion is just having three hours of comedy on Thursday.

They're probably afraid to cancel it because even at its low ratings, at least it isn't doing the swan-dive-off-a-cliff that new shows usually do, especially on NBC.

It has a loyal fanbase of around 6 million viewers and that's better than every other NBC show.

So really Chuck fans, whenever the show is canceled don't be pissed off, because if it were on any other network it would have gotten 13-22 episodes and that's it.

Honestly, I think a lot of us didn't expect Chuck to get as far as it has, so every episode we get now is pretty much gravy for us.

Absolutely. It's already lasted longer than I ever would have guessed, so I will continue to take what I can get. I love the show, but I will not be upset when it ends, as we've already gotten way more than we could have imagined.

I thought Chuck was gone after two seasons yet two seasons later it is still here. I'm happy we got this far so even if this ends up being the final season it'll be ok with me.

No joke. I don't even watch Chuck but I have put S1 in my Netflix queue now.

If Dollhouse had been on NBC it'd likely still be around.

I'm indifferent on Outsourced. Saw the first two and chuckled a few times. It might grow into something. I don't think its pick-up is bad for Community though. It's still doing marginally better I thought.

From what I understand, NBC waited so long to renew Chuck last season, that several writers had already taken new jobs elsewhere. I don't know if this is the direct cause of this season being lackluster, but it seems a likely reason.

However, the latest episode (with the Faux A-Team) was pretty much a return to form, so I'm hopeful going forward. As much as I love the show, I'd be content if they wrapped it up this year and went out on a high note.
