I agree - I see their point but it is badly made and does not address actual business concerns.
Fundamentally - employing a team of software pros to modify open-source software (a key selling point is that you can modify it down to the most basic level) is not exactly on the radar of a lot of companies - especially considering what you can do with office anyway.
Problem is that licensing is very expensive but it is nothing on support costs and has to be considered as part of total "cost-of-ownership".
