Anyone seen the Trailer

I am really looking forward to seeing this movie, it looks like an amazing movie which is written, acted and directed at the very top of movie making. We all know that Heath Ledger will win the Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars in 2009 but the leading actor one will be up for grabs and I feel that either of these could have a chance there especially Michael Sheen who was wonderful as Tony Blair in "The Queen".

I also feel that knowing Ron Howard, he and the film will most likely be nominated though I expect TDK to win best picture and screenplay with Nolan getting the Director award.

I saw the trailer for this recently, and yes, it looks fascinating! I can't wait to see it.

Saw a documentary awhile back about these interviews, and am very much looking forward to this movie.

It's a fascinating story.

F/N looks great and I'll definitely be seeing it.

but to be slightly off topic: why wouldn't Ledger be up in the best actor category? He wasn't officially the film's star but he had just as big a part as Christian Bale ... He's definitely more than a "supporting actor" in TDK...

Screen time means Bale was the main star, there nothing less special about supporting actor award. Joker was not main character, Batman was.

I'm definitely intrigued about this film, although I'm forced to pause knowing the director (Ron Howard has not always been as impressive to me as he has been to others--A Beautiful Mind being a widely praised, but widely forgettable film, in my opinion) and seeing bits of the actor performing as Nixon (which, from those bits, seems to be wildly close to doing an impression as Nixon, rather than playing Nixon the character--but I'm more than a little partial to Anthony Hopkin's interpretation of the man, and am more than a little biased as a result).
