Contest: VOTE From One Forum to Another: Your Help Needed!

Hey there, fine folks of the Misc forum, it is us, your peeps from Fan Art!

For many years now your creative neighbors from a few forums up are having a monthly art challenge, I'm sure some of you have noticed it. Artists from around the globe with a knack for Trek are flexing their creative muscles to do something awesome, from nothing they create Star Trek fan art. It's almost magical.

Then at the end of the month we post a poll and choose the work we deem best. All of this happens in the Trekkian spirit of fun and working to better ourselves, the rest of humanity and all that stuff. It's almost not entirely about the winning.

Lately some among us have voiced their desire for more people from around the whole of the TrekBBS coming to vote in our contest. It's because we want our work to be seen and ... yeah ... judged. More votes would make the poll results more expressive and the whole thing would feel more like the community effort it really is. I hope it's okay for me to post this here. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Not only would it nice for more people to come and have a look at what we're doing and casting a vote, but it would be great if we also got a few more people "flexing their creative muscles" (as M said) and taking part.

I confess I have not been to that forum for years, not since that furry guy was posting giant boobed furry something.. anyway I kind of wandered off after that entertainment stopped.

ALSO.. every time I looked it seemed to be all ships all the time so I was so surprised by what you all have going there
